Barney Carnage REMAKE
"Your task is to kill the big purple guy"
Originally created by Johnathan Swanson over 30 years ago, this Mac classic has you defending the world from Barney himself. Use pistols, machine guns, knives, lightning, and nukes (and maybe a new secret weapon?) through the original 5 levels on your mission to protect Earth.
While in between projects, I decided to remake a game I remembered fondly from my childhood with some additions that I had thought up. Hopefully, this will allow people who knew the game to give it another try while also introducing others to a simpler time where all you needed was gruesome methods of killing a beloved child icon.
New features in the remake:
- Music!
- Two new game modes!
- Difficulty options!
- Death sprites for angels and devils!
Known Bug:
Do NOT use the numpad for changing weapons
Notes:
Customizing barney speed, respawn rate, and amount of lives the player has is not yet implemented. I wanted to add it in, but I've decided against it at this moment.
Since I am not the creator of the original game, I have opted-out of receiving donations since it felt wrong profiting off of what isn't mine.
